Dr. Block is a Compassionate Psychiatrist and Staunch Patient Advocate who has been in private practice since 1993.

Dr. Block's core approach to care begins with the unique story each patient needs to tell. Treatment is based on a collaborative effort between Dr. Block and his patients. He begins each relationship with a comprehensive two hour psychiatric evaluation, that includes a full medical history as well. At the end of the consultation, there is open discussion about treatment options. If a patient has an existing therapist, a release form is signed so there can be ongoing confidential communication between providers. At all times patient confidentiality is held sacred and absolutely necessary for successful treatment.
